Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of game server hosting from VyrexHost. By buying or using a server you accept them.

Your account

You need a verified email address before you can buy. Keep your details accurate and your password to yourself — you are responsible for what happens through your account. Tell us at support@vyrexhost.com if you think someone else has access to it.

What you are buying

A game server with the memory, CPU and storage shown when you order, running in the region you choose at checkout. Storage is fixed per plan. Capacity is finite: if a region is full at the moment you order, that plan is shown as unavailable there rather than sold to you.

Billing

Plans are billed monthly in advance through Stripe, in US dollars. Prices shown in another currency are converted for reference only, and the dollar amount is what reaches your card. Your renewal date is set by your first payment and does not move.

Changing your plan

Upgrading takes effect immediately. You pay the full difference between your current and new monthly price at that moment — it is not reduced according to how much of the period is left — and every renewal after that is at the new price. Your renewal date does not change.

Downgrading also takes effect immediately: the server is resized straight away. Nothing is charged and nothing is refunded for the part of the period you have already paid at the higher rate. The lower price starts at your next renewal.

Cancelling

You can cancel from your dashboard at any time, in one of two ways.

At the end of your billing period — the server keeps running until the time you have paid for runs out, then stops. Nothing further is charged, and you can change your mind up until it takes effect.

Immediately — the server is suspended at once and you give up the remainder of the period you have paid for, with no partial refund. The server and everything on it are then permanently deleted 6 hours later. That window is the only opportunity to reverse a cancellation made by mistake, so contact support within it if you change your mind.

If a payment fails

Your server is suspended and your card is retried for a period. If a retry succeeds the server is restored automatically with your data intact. We do not delete servers for non-payment — but a subscription that ends without being paid leaves the server suspended, and we may remove suspended servers after giving you notice.

Backups and your data

Backups are available in the panel and you can create or restore one at any time. They are not taken automatically on a schedule, so keeping current backups of anything you care about is your responsibility. Take one before large changes such as a version upgrade or a new modpack. We are not liable for lost world data.

Acceptable use

Servers may not be used for illegal activity, to distribute malware, to attack or scan other systems, to send spam, or in breach of the licence of the game software you run. We may suspend or terminate a server found in violation without refund.

Availability

We aim for high uptime but do not offer a guaranteed service level. Maintenance that we plan will be announced in advance where we can. Occasional interruption is not a breach of these terms, though extended unresolved downtime caused by us is grounds for a refund — see the Refund Policy.

Your right to withdraw

As a consumer buying online you normally have 14 days to withdraw from the contract without giving a reason. A server is built within about a minute of payment, so before you pay we ask you to confirm two things with a separate tick box: that you want us to start straight away, and that you understand the right to withdraw ends once the service has been fully performed.

If you withdraw after we have begun but before the service is fully performed, you pay a proportionate amount for what you have used, and we refund the rest. To withdraw, just write to billing@vyrexhost.com — no particular form of words is needed.

This is your right in law and sits alongside our own satisfaction guarantee, which is described in the Refund Policy. Whichever is better for you is the one that applies.

Refunds

A full refund is available within 24 hours of your first purchase. After that, refunds are case by case. The Refund Policy has the detail and forms part of these terms.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change materially affects you we will say so on this page, and continuing to use the service after that means you accept it. Last updated 10 August 2026.

Law

These terms are governed by Danish law. Nothing here removes rights you have as a consumer that cannot be set aside by agreement.
